We are seeking a dedicated and organized Material Management Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our material management operations and ensuring efficient processes in inventory control and supply chain activities. The position may require visits to our warehouse and vendors as needed.
Salary Starting Pay: $39,500 - $41,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Franchise Communication: Manage daily orders and support the procurement process by assisting with order placement and tracking. Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Order Tracking: Ensure timely completion of all orders to suppliers, addressing any delays or issues by communicating effectively with suppliers to find resolutions.
- Data Entry and Document Management: Assist with data entry tasks. Organize and maintain records of purchase orders and invoices, updating the system with relevant information to ensure accuracy in material and inventory transactions.
- Inventory Management: Help monitor inventory levels to align with company needs, preventing overstocking or shortages. Conduct regular inventory audits and report any discrepancies.
- ERP System Maintenance: Input data into the ERP system and generate necessary reports.
- Internal Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination between different stores to ensure smooth implementation of operational plans.
- Warehouse and Vendor Visits: Visit the warehouse and vendors as necessary to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
